- Purchase some finance software. Most companies offer a free trial period.
- Keep in mind that you will have low months and high months. Put away the extra money you make to take care of those expected low months. Save your money in a prepaid visa card. That way, when a month leaves you with a bit less than you expected, you can pull the funds you need.
- Don’t be afraid to get help if you need it. An accountant who knows his or her stuff will save you some headache and mistakes if you’re really unsure of how to best manage your finances.
